Lancashire Low Carbon Showcase
6 December, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
The Lancashire Low-Carbon Showcase event was held at Burnley Football Club in December 2018 as a partnership between the MaCaW Project, Chamber Low Carbon Project, The Centre for Global Eco-Innovation at Lancaster University and The Knowledge Transfer Network.
The event was hosted by Andrew Leeming, Boost Programme Manager, Lancashire County Council and was a valuable morning for Lancashire businesses to learn about the low carbon and business development opportunities within our county.
The event was attended by a wide variety of businesses from across the County and the MaCaW team had a great morning interacting with interested parties, informing them of the excellent opportunities available to SMEs.
Professor Karl Williams, MaCaW Project Director and Director of the UCLan Centre for Waste Management (CWM) presented on how MaCaW, the CWM and UCLan can help businesses in Lancashire to reduce their carbon footprint.

• Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN)
There is a wealth of support available across the county for Lancashire based businesses to help them save money, develop new technology and reduce their carbon footprint – this event was planned to simply highlight this to a wider audience.
